About this book

Adham is born again and again, each time carrying another identity and another life. He is man and woman, closed beginning and open ending, an endlessly revised version of a single human being who longs for immortality. Maha Hassan pushes narrative experiment to its limits, abandoning stable biography for proliferating selves and philosophical play. The Infinite is an exuberant novel about gender, identity, authorship and the impossible desire to contain every version of the other within one life story.
