About this book

Rosario is shot while receiving a kiss. As she hangs between love and death, a narrator who has loved her from one side reconstructs the fragments of her past in Medellín—a city where poverty, weapons and the drug trade shape childhood and desire. Jorge Franco’s fast, cinematic novel refuses to reduce its heroine to either victim or assassin, tracing the intimacy, violence and legend gathered around one unforgettable woman. Originally written in Spanish as “Rosario Tijeras”, this is the Arabic edition published by Mamdouh Adwan Publishing House.
