About this book

Five young French aid workers drive humanitarian supplies toward war-torn Bosnia, but the mission steadily undermines their assumptions. As physical and moral checkpoints multiply, Rufin asks what victims need, what aid can accomplish and where solidarity ends. Originally written in French as “Check-point”, the work appears here in an Arabic translation by Marie Elias.
