About this book

An accident brings the wandering puppeteer Dingo back to the impoverished village he fled years before. Seeking help from his old friend Juan Medinao awakens a painful history of family domination, shame and resentment in this compact novel about the wounds of childhood. Originally written in Spanish as “Fiesta al Noroeste”, the work appears here in an Arabic translation by Ali Ibrahim Ashqar.
