About this book

The burial of a woman known only through contradictory stories becomes the starting point for an inquiry into truth and invention. As witnesses revise and embellish what happened, Onetti turns a brief mystery into a meditation on memory, desire and the stories people need in order to live. Originally written in Spanish as “Para una tumba sin nombre”, this is the Arabic edition published by Mamdouh Adwan Publishing House.
